Greek team resolves contract with Ezzedine Onahi
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Moroccan player Ezzedine Ounahi arrived in Greece on Tuesday evening with the prospect of signing for Greek club Panathinaikos as part of the ongoing summer transfer window.
The European player transfer expert indicated that Ezzedine Ounahi would join Panathinaikos on loan for one season, with a financial value of 500 thousand euros, which Olympique de Marseille will receive.
Fabrizio Romano said the contract includes a clause providing for the option to buy the contract from the Greek club, worth up to 11 million euros.
Ezzedine Ounahi received several offers from various Arab clubs, including the Qatari club Al-Sadd, which offered him an attractive contract worth 7 million euros per year, but he preferred to stay in Europe, and Walid Regragui also kept him on the final list of the Atlas Lions, despite his absence from the competition for a long period.
It is worth noting that the 24-year-old joined Olympique de Marseille at the start of 2023, for around eight million euros, coming from Angie, after his brilliance in the final of the “Qatar 2022” World Cup.
