The marketing operation of the Ait Melloul logistics zone is planned to be launched in 2024, announced Tuesday in Casablanca, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdeljalil.
“The pilot project for the Ait Melloul logistics zone south of Agadir is being completed and its marketing should be launched before the end of the year,” said Mr. Abdeljalil who spoke to opening of the 11th edition of the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition for Africa and the Mediterranean (Logismed), held under the theme “What logistics strategies face economic, geopolitical and environmental challenges?” “.
Positioned on the N1 expressway south of Ait Melloul, this zone aims to offer logistics land at competitive prices to accommodate investors wishing to develop logistics real estate meeting their own needs or the needs of economic operators in the Region, explained the minister.
Placed under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, the Logismed exhibition aims to be a dynamic crossroads where the logistics ecosystem comes together to exchange and inspire each other.
The main objectives of this exhibition are to make an active contribution to the promotion of logistics culture in Morocco and the promotion of professions in the sector, as well as to the creation of a sustained movement uniting all components of the logistics community at the national level. .
