This step aims to ensure a fair and balanced distribution of boats, which allows transparent rotation according to an annual mechanism, now the sustainability of the trap. The choice of state writing was to announce two lists for the current and future season, in order to meet the growing demand for trap, because the statistics showed that more than 300 boats had asked them for access.
This initiative reflects major challenges with which the trap is faced, in particular the central box (B), which suffered great difficulties during the last hunting season, in particular in the areas of Tarfaya and Laayoune, where boats Sardines have witnessed a very difficult season.
