The Canarian Consulate successfully established two mobile consulates in less than a month

As part of ongoing interaction with members of the Moroccan community residing on the islands of Tenerife and Lanzarote, which fall under the territorial jurisdiction of the Consulate General in Cran Canarias, the latter organized two mobile consulates for the benefit of Moroccans in the region.
This process was characterized by the settlement of a certain number of administrative files in good conditions, with the approval of all, thanks to the rigorous organization and good treatment demonstrated by the consular staff in processing the files of Moroccan immigrants who reside there.
A number of civil associations expressed their satisfaction with the tangible results obtained by the two mobile consulates, particularly at this stage in the run-up to the summer holidays, when Moroccans from all over the world flock to the consular centers to fulfill all the administrative documents they need. part of their preparations to travel to their country of origin.
The Moroccan Jedour Association of the island of Lanzarote commented on its official Blue World page that it held a meeting with the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco, Fatiha El Kammoury. During the meeting, a group of points of interest for Moroccans. community residing on the island of Lanzarote were discussed, and among the points that focused on the association were:
Bring consular services closer to Moroccan citizens residing on the island, in particular by facilitating procedures for obtaining basic documents related to consulate missions,” according to the blog.
In the same context, the Consul General, Fatiha Al-Kamori, held a meeting with the presidents of the two municipal councils, Pepe Juan Cruz and Alfredo Mendoza, and the parliamentarian Loly Corojo, in order to seek avenues of cooperation between the island of Lanzarote and the Kingdom of Morocco. A business meeting also took place with a group of Moroccan associations active in defending the rights of Moroccan immigrants on the island.
It should be noted that the Canarian Consulate has charted a good path in recent times and has opened itself to all regions under its influence within the framework of the Royal Instructions and the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation African in order to touch the aspirations of the community and allow it to benefit from local services, since we note that the same Consulate has not organized any mobile initiative since 2017.
