Casablanca stock exchange opens session in green

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began Friday’s session in the green, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.4% to 11,730.87 points.

The MSI 20, an index of the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.55% to 946.3 points and the Casablanca ESG 10 index also rose by 0.77% to 882.36 points.

On the upside, Fenie Brossette recorded the largest increase (+5.91% to MAD 139.8), ahead of Microdata (+5.66% to MAD 560), and Miniere Touissit (+4.23% to MAD 1,970).

In contrast, TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc showed the highest drop (-5.84% to MAD 1,450), followed by Med Paper (-2.57% to MAD 33) and Sonasid (-2.5% to MAD 621).

As of yesterday at the closing, the MASI index had ended the session on a loss of 1.07%.
