The Beni Mellal Regional Hospital witnessed today a handover ceremony between the former acting director, Dr. Ibrahim Slik, and his successor, Dr. Salah El Madkouri, who was appointed acting director of this regional health institution. This move is part of the new dynamic currently affecting the region’s health system.
The regional director of health for the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region oversaw the installation ceremony. In his speech, he emphasized the need to continue efforts to improve health services and strengthen the relationship between the institution and citizens through a policy of proximity and openness to the needs of users. During the handover ceremony, several health and administrative officials expressed their deep gratitude to Dr. Ibrahim Slik, who, during his acting directorship, demonstrated wisdom, integrity, and excellent communication skills. Despite constraints, he managed to restore the reputation of the regional health facility and build trust between the administration and the population, thanks to his constant openness to patients and his responsible response to various issues. Dr. Slik is expected to continue his career in a new position of responsibility, having been appointed to manage the Higher Institute of Nursing and Health Technologies in Beni Mellal, as part of the restructuring of the regional management of the health and vocational training sectors. Dr. Salah El Madkouri, known for his efficiency and management experience, is now expected to lead the center towards further performance improvement and service quality enhancement, especially in the face of the many challenges facing the health sector locally and regionally.
