Mohamed Manfalouti – HIBAPRESS
With the beginning of the current school year, the phenomenon of motorcycles has returned to invade the surroundings of educational institutions and their public streets in the city of Settat, by teenagers, most of whom come from marginalized neighborhoods and others from the villages adjacent to the city, who bypass security barriers at the entrances to the city to sow chaos with their reckless behaviors and the sounds of their terrifying motorcycle engines.
In residential neighborhoods and narrow alleys, they pass like a flash of lightning, threatening the lives of young children, and leaving behind them unbearable noise… In public streets, public gardens, and at the northern entrance to the city, the same picture and the same scenes of rioting that continue until late at night, where they lie in wait for girls and female students and disturb passersby and disrupt traffic, violating the rules of traffic law and exceeding the permitted speed within the urban environment. It is a return of this phenomenon, which has made the city's streets, like other cities, a stage for it, as the silence of the city was broken by the noise of its annoying engines, waking up the beds of patients, the elderly, and infants… It is a phenomenon that requires urgent intervention by the concerned authorities to strike with an iron fist on all those who violate the rules of law and the principles of morals and values, in order to protect the blood of the innocent and preserve the dignity and security of the citizen and his right to move freely in the public street.
