The General Directorate of Meteorology expects the weather today, Monday, to witness hot to locally very hot conditions in several regions, including the Tadla plains, Rhamna, phosphate plateaus, and the regions of the plain of Chaouia, Sais, Gharb, Loukkos, Souss, and the southeast, and within the southern provinces.
Also, the formation of fog or light scattered rainfall is expected in the morning and at night on the northern and central coasts, with partly cloudy skies over the High and Anti-Atlas mountains, the south, and the southeast. Relatively strong wind gusts will be recorded at times in the central plains and the desert regions. Minimum temperatures will range between 27 and 33 degrees in Souss, Chiadma, the southeast and the Sahara, and between 22 and 28 degrees in the western regions of the Atlas, Sais and several other provinces, while it will record 17 to 22 degrees in the rest of the regions. As for the day, it will witness a decrease in the south, and stability or an increase in the rest of the regions. Regarding the state of the sea, it will be calm to slightly choppy on the Mediterranean front, slightly choppy to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly choppy to locally rough on the other coasts.
