The city of Beni Mellal witnessed, this evening, moving human moments during the protests organized by a number of citizens, where the protesters expressed their respect for the security forces by stopping their slogans and applauding warmly, chanting: "You are our brothers, and we have no problem with you."
The atmosphere gradually returned to calm amid intense security deployment, as the authorities continued their efforts to secure the public space and ensure order, under the direct field supervision of the Wali of Beni Mellal security, Tayeb Waali, who is known for his effective communication and good management of such situations, through close monitoring of developments and the guidance of field instructions within a framework of wisdom and dialogue. These developments come at a time when a number of Moroccan cities witnessed peaceful protest gatherings today, Thursday, raising social and economic demands, in a context in which citizens emphasize their adherence to the right to expression within the framework of the law and mutual respect.
