Police elements in the Tangier security directorate managed, this Tuesday morning, October 7, to arrest two people suspected of being involved in a case of robbery associated with impersonation regulated by law.
The suspects had impersonated police officers in order to stop a victim and subject him to robbery under the pretext of subjecting him to a fictitious identity verification process, before investigations and inquiries led to their arrest shortly after committing these criminal acts. The seizure and search operation carried out in this case resulted in finding a radio device and two metal badges in the possession of the suspects, bearing visual features similar to those used by public force elements. The suspects have been detained under custody on the grounds of the preliminary investigation being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, to reveal all the circumstances, details and background of this case.
