HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Omar Blahfrej, the former parliamentarian for the Democratic Left Federation, admitted to the failure of the experiment of establishing a strong leftist party with a broad popular base in Morocco.
Blahfrej clarified in his interview during a podcast organized by the "GenZ212" group via the "Discord" platform that the Democratic Left Federation project was unable to achieve what it aspired to in terms of political and mass influence, despite the efforts made to unite the leftist ranks and present a different alternative on the national scene. Blahfrej confirmed that the Federation's experience was full of lessons, but it also revealed structural and organizational difficulties that prevented it from turning into a political force capable of attracting broad segments of society.
