Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, participated today in Abu Dhabi in a reception held in honor of the dignitaries participating in the "World Conservation Congress," which is part of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
During this ceremony, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa received Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Sheikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, and Razan Al Mubarak, President of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa also received Astrid Schomaker, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, Musonda Mumba, Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, Grethel Aguilar, Director General of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and Patricia Ricard, President of the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute. Her Highness also received His Royal Highness Prince Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Crown Prince of Pahang (Malaysia), Achim Steiner, former Director of the United Nations Development Programme, David Obura, Director of CORDIO East Africa and Head of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, Marco Lambertini, Coordinator of the Positive Nature Initiative, Francesca Cortes Solari, President of the Solari Foundation, Antonio Herman Benjamin, President of the Supreme Court of Justice in Brazil and former President of the World Commission on Environmental Law of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and Amy Frankel, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Wild Animals. Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, participated today, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, as a guest of honor, in the proceedings of the World Conservation Congress, part of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
