The Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy, and Solidarity announced that Morocco welcomed 15 million tourists until the end of September 2025, an increase of 14 percent compared to the same period last year.
A statement from the ministry indicated that the month of September recorded 1.4 million tourists, an increase of 9 percent. The same source explained that this new record confirms the continuation of the positive momentum since the beginning of 2025, thanks to the strengthening of air connectivity, targeted promotional campaigns, and the continuous improvement of the tourism experience. The statement quoted the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy, and Solidarity, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, as saying, "The arrival of 15 million tourists reflects the success of the strategy followed," highlighting that the government continues to mobilize to accelerate this momentum and make tourism a real economic driver in all regions.
