The “government majority” welcomes the cohesion of its components and the consistency of its positions

The presidential committee of the government majority held its ordinary meeting yesterday evening, Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Aziz Akhannouch, president of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) Party, Fatima Zahra Mansouri, national coordinator of the collective leadership of the Party Authenticity and Modernity (PAM), and Nizar Baraka, Secretary General of the Istiqlal Party, accompanied by Rashid El Talbi Alami and Samir Koudar.

At the opening of this meeting, the majority presidency highly appreciated the royal initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God help him, consisting of giving instructions to launch a humanitarian operation aimed at providing medical assistance to the inhabitants Palestinians from Gaza. This clearly reflects the supreme royal attention to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee on the Palestinian question.

After an in-depth and responsible discussion on national developments, the presidency of the government majority praised the cohesion of its components and the coherence of its positions on all issues, which produced a positive government report presented by the head of government before both Houses of Parliament despite all the crises and constraints encountered during this period of repercussions of the Covid pandemic, drought unity and geopolitical tensions on supply chains.

The majority noted the remarkable new style of government management based on the effective implementation of the commitments included in the government program and a quick and positive response to urgent problems, expressing satisfaction with the dynamics of implementing the government program and welcoming the financial engineering put in place by the government to ensure the sustainability of financing the state’s social projects.

The majority components highlighted the important work accomplished by the parliamentary majority teams in the House of Representatives and the House of Advisors, activating their constitutional functions of legislation, monitoring and evaluation, while welcoming the institutional interaction of opposition teams to strengthen the political roles of Parliament as an institution of democratic debate in our country.

The majority underlined the central importance of local authorities, regional councils and regional councils in achieving an approach close to citizens’ expectations, requiring the strengthening of their roles to serve the consolidation of the decentralization process, improve services local, reduce regional disparities, and undertakes to continue the implementation of the government program and to work on the consolidation of the State’s social projects and to give priority to the employment file for the remainder of the term of the current mandate.
