On Saturday evening, October 25, 2025, the Royal Gendarmerie elements in Tamensourt, in precise coordination with the local authorities, succeeded in ending the abduction of a 25-year-old young woman inside a house in the Ait Massoud douar of the Harbil commune, after a qualitative operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect without resistance.
According to local sources, the perpetrator, who is from the Ahmer region, met the victim in the city of Tangier before luring her to the Harbil area and holding her captive inside a house, after stealing her mobile phone to prevent her from seeking help or contacting her family. But the girl, with remarkable intelligence, was able to send her geographical location to her sister's husband via another phone, which enabled the family to immediately go to the Royal Gendarmerie center in Tamensourt to file an urgent complaint. Immediately upon receiving the notification, a gendarmerie patrol moved quickly towards the specified address, with the assistance of the local authority agent, Mustafa Naseef, whose field expertise and precise knowledge of the area helped in accurately locating the house. In a short time, the victim was freed and the suspect was arrested, in an operation that was praised by the residents of the area for its readiness and field alertness. The person concerned was taken to the Royal Gendarmerie center in Tamensourt, where the investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, pending the completion of the investigation to reveal all the circumstances of the incident.
