HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Fawzi Lajja confirmed during his intervention before the Finance and Economic Development Committee in the House of Representatives that the financial positions proposed by the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports are not subject to discussion as long as they are considered an urgent priority for improving and developing the education system.
Lajja pointed out that before preparing the draft finance law, it became clear that there were about three thousand schools, especially in some remote areas, without a principal, stressing that the government will work to address this shortage within the framework of the finance law. Lajja added in the midst of his talk about the financial positions in the new draft finance law that more than nineteen thousand new financial positions have been allocated to the Ministry of National Education within the framework of the sector's priorities. Lajja considered that the education sector enjoys special importance for His Majesty the King and the government, stressing that this step aims to enhance the quality of education and ensure the proper functioning of educational institutions in various regions of the Kingdom.
