The expansion project of the Grand Stage de Tanger aims to reach a capacity of 80,000 seats. The work will also involve the installation of the roof to cover the stadium.

The Grand Ibn Batouta stadium will be covered, after the addition of a circular concrete level, the installation of the new stands has already begun. These structures were created with cutting-edge technologies, in line with the standards of large international arenas.

The operation of installing the stadium roof will be entirely managed by Moroccan technicians and engineers.

Additionally, the stadium expansion also includes the installation of various infrastructures around and on the pitch, in accordance with the standards set by FIFA.
