HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, Mohamed Said Barrada, said that the Moroccan reform of the national education sector is among the top 5 reforms in the world.
Barrada explained, during his appearance as a guest on the program "Ma'a Al-Ramadani" broadcast by the second channel, that the pedagogy adopted in the pioneering school has borne fruit, highlighting that the Moroccan reform can be classified among the top 5 globally. Barrada continued that the results of the reform need time to fully appear, emphasizing that any reform of preschool education, which Morocco began in 2018, will not reach the stage of generalization to all schools until 2028. The minister pointed out that the evaluation of the reform cannot be done in a year or two, stressing that the Moroccan reform of the national education sector has aroused the interest and "amazement" of many countries. Barrada added: "I am not saying that this is strange and that we have achieved all the goals," but this current reform is the only one among all the previous reforms that "entered the classroom."
