The Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, had confirmed during the general discussion of the draft finance law that the general context of its preparation reflects a new stage of national economic dynamism, where the discussion is no longer focused on resilience or reducing the effects of crises, but on achieving sustainable growth and diversifying sources of wealth in light of a successful Moroccan economy, moving forward according to a long-term strategic vision. She stressed that the draft law seeks to achieve a precise balance between the logic of numbers and the integrated development bet, considering it a financial and development framework at the same time, reflecting the government's comprehensive vision in implementing its strategic choices and implementing the recommendations contained in the general report on the new development model. She added that Morocco has achieved remarkable success in maintaining macro-economic balances and strengthening financial sovereignty, thanks to tax reforms, rationalizing expenditures, and improving resource mobilization, which enabled the reduction of debt and the strengthening of the confidence of international institutions, pointing out that these "data will attract more global investors." It is worth noting that the House of Representatives will hold a general session today, Friday, devoted to discussing and voting on the second part of the draft finance law, after which the entire draft law will be voted on.
