HIBAPRESS – Oujda
The governor of the province of Berkane referred to the attention of the administrative court in Oujda, the head of the Sidi Slimane Ash-Sharaa commune and three of his deputies in order to activate the procedure for the decision to dismiss them from exercising their duties.
This administrative referral comes against the backdrop of the involvement of the arrested officials in irregularities and suspicions related to construction violations and the mismanagement of several files within the territorial jurisdiction of the commune. According to informed sources, the governor's decision to officially refer the file to the attention of the administrative court aims to activate the procedure for the final dismissal from their duties, in accordance with the legal procedures in force in such cases. This decisive measure reflects the determination of the regional authorities to combat violations, especially in the construction sector, which is considered one of the sectors most vulnerable to corruption.
