HIBAPRESS – I. Asmlali
The city of Marrakech lived the atmosphere of filming a new Arab series entitled "Heroes of the Sands," which brings together a group of Arab and Moroccan actors, and is expected to be shown during the upcoming month of Ramadan.
The series, consisting of 15 episodes, takes us to the pre-Islamic era, shedding light on social transformations and tribal conflicts, in addition to ancient Arabic poetry and the intellectual and cultural changes that characterized that era. The work includes a number of prominent Moroccan names in acting and cinematic techniques, under the supervision of producer Mohamed El-Kaghat through his company "New Generation Pictures." Among the participating faces: Adnan Mouhajja, Abdelnabi El-Benioui, Abdelilah El-Kaghat, Nidal Najm, Khaled Najm, and Mohamed El-Ibrahimi. The series is produced by the Qatar Production Foundation, in partnership with the company "Cinegraphy" for producer Hadi Garnit, and is directed by director Samer Jabr, who previously presented the series "Swords of the Arabs" last year, which was filmed in Morocco and shown on the "Shahid" platform. "Heroes of the Sands" reflects the artistic cooperation between Morocco and Arab countries, and aims to present a historical work that combines authenticity and modernity, aimed at lovers of historical and cultural drama.
