Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny reassured his audience on Friday about his health, denying the accuracy of what has been circulating in recent days about him being subjected to a medical error during the surgery he underwent in Germany.
Hosny had undergone emergency surgery there a few days ago, then returned to Egypt to complete his treatment, amid a large disparity in the news circulating about his health. He said in a message published through his social media accounts: "My loved ones who have not left me alone, I wish you a blessed Friday. I would like to clarify that what is being circulated about a medical error is completely untrue." He added: "I am, thank God, improving daily, and there is continuous follow-up between the hospital in Germany and the medical team in Egypt," noting that the German hospital praised the efficiency of the Egyptian doctors supervising his treatment. He continued, saying: "I am definitely going through difficult days because it is a major operation, but thanks to God and then your prayers, this stage will pass well, God willing." It is worth mentioning that Tamer Hosny had undergone a delicate operation in Germany to remove a part of his kidney, after suffering a sudden health crisis.
