HIBAPRESS – Fez
The Ministry of Interior has dismissed (S), who held the position of Head of the Internal Affairs Division in the prefecture of Fez, and attached him to what is known as the "Administrative Garage" in the ministry, according to informed sources.
This step comes within a series of moves within the territorial administration in the Fez-Meknes region, where the same sources indicated that the dismissal came as a result of "a series of serious administrative errors," which prompted the ministry to rearrange the responsibilities of the division to ensure the normal functioning of the interests. The same sources added that "S" was responsible for sensitive files including territorial affairs and coordination with security services and local employment. During his tenure, some sources observed "organizational imbalances" that affected the progress of the division's interests, which necessitated the intervention of the ministry to make an urgent decision of dismissal. Some observers point out that the person concerned was supposed to review his papers and the division's procedures periodically before the problems escalated, but he did not, which led to the accumulation of errors. In a direct step after the dismissal, the next head of the Internal Affairs Division was appointed from the Marrakech region, to enhance the effectiveness of the administration and ensure the better progress of administrative and security files. The coming days are sufficient to show whether the new official is able to perform his work with dedication and mastery, especially in a large and complex city like Fez, where its challenges are not underestimated. Position of the Wali of the Fez region The Wali Ait Taleb is not easy, he is a practical man and loves reason without evasion, according to informed sources, which puts the new official in a real test of the ability to adapt to the methodology of work and the requirements of the territorial administration. The dismissal and the placement of the former official in the "Administrative Garage" represents a clear message about holding those responsible for any imbalances accountable. The city needs a strong local leadership to ensure the management of administrative and security files efficiently. The decision falls within the strategy of the Ministry of Interior to enhance the effectiveness of the territorial administration, and to keep pace with the transformations related to major projects and local services.
