The Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy and Solidarity announced that Morocco received 18 million tourists at the end of November 2025, a historic achievement that exceeds the total number of tourists in the entire year of 2024 by more than 600,000 additional tourists.
A statement from the ministry stated that "this exceptional performance confirms the dynamism of the sector, which has seen growth of 13.5 percent compared to the same period last year." The same source added that this new record reflects the effectiveness of the strategic investments that have been implemented within the framework of the 2023-2026 roadmap, whether through strengthening air connectivity, international promotion, or developing and diversifying the tourism offer. The statement quoted the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy and Solidarity, Fatima Zahra Ammor, as saying: "These achievements reflect the great progress that Morocco has witnessed in recent years under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and they also highlight the exceptional potential that Morocco as a destination enjoys." The minister added: "We are on the right track to end the year strongly, especially with the organization of the African Cup of Nations, which heralds an exceptional December."
