Cell phone charger causes fire in Fez apartment

A fire broke out this evening, Monday, July 8, in a house in the Marjah district, in the Zouagha district of Fez, because of a mobile phone charger left for a long time in one of the rooms of the house, according to a source “Heba Press”.

The same source adds that the electric pressure force of the mobile charger caused it to explode, setting fire to the furniture in the house, before destroying the entire house, leaving behind material losses.
Civil Protection agents were able to extinguish the fire that destroyed the furniture in the house, while our sources confirmed that the fire did not cause any human casualties.
In the meantime, local and security authorities have gone to the scene to conduct an investigation and open an inquiry into the matter.
