Elements of the Criminal Intelligence and Technical Support for Research team in Marrakech managed, last night, to arrest a person who was in a utility vehicle, possessing 1 kilogram and 130 grams of cocaine.
The suspect was apprehended during a precise security intervention, which resulted in the seizure of the aforementioned quantity of drugs, which was prepared for distribution, according to the preliminary data of the investigation.
By instructions from the competent Public Prosecution, a judicial investigation was opened into the case, in order to determine the circumstances and details of this criminal activity.
The suspect was also placed in custody, pending the completion of investigations to uncover the potential extensions of the network involved, before being brought before the judiciary.
