The judicial police elements of the regional security in Guercif arrested, this Saturday evening, two people in their twenties, suspected of being involved in repeated thefts targeting motorcycles in a number of city neighborhoods.
According to data obtained by the newspaper, the arrest operation came after thorough investigations and field tracking supervised by the judicial police elements, after one of the surveillance cameras documented the moment one of the suspects stole a motorcycle from the vicinity of a cafe in the Western Al-Nakd neighborhood. The same sources added that the monitoring operation made it possible to identify the identity of the suspects and track their movements, before they were arrested at the level of the Al-Zahzouhi neighborhood, where they were taken to the headquarters of the regional security in Guercif. The concerned individuals have been placed under custody, pending the judicial investigation that is being conducted under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to deepen the investigation and uncover all the criminal acts attributed to them, as well as to determine whether they were involved in other similar cases.
