HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the local organizing committee have opened a modern Main Media Center (MMC) in Morocco, as part of their efforts to provide high-quality services to local and international media outlets. This center will be the central hub for all media accredited to cover the continental finals.
The inauguration of the Main Media Center, located in the indoor hall of the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, is a significant milestone in CAF's commitment to enhancing the media experience at the biggest football event on the African continent. Accredited media outlets will be able to access the Main Media Center daily, according to the following schedule:
▪ Days without matches: 10:00 to 23:00
▪ Match days in Rabat: 09:30 until two hours after the end of the last match in Rabat.
▪ Rest days: 10:00 to 18:00
Based on the success of the innovative media facilities that were first introduced during the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Côte d'Ivoire 2023, in Abidjan, the Main Media Center for the Morocco 2025 edition sets a new standard for media operations on the continent. This facility is strategically located in the city of Rabat and has a capacity of approximately 2,000 media professionals. It is designed to cater to various media categories, such as television, radio, print journalism, photographers, and content creators, ensuring comprehensive and seamless coverage of the tournament for fans in Africa and around the world. The Main Media Center will provide a modern and fully equipped working environment, including high-speed internet access, comfortable work offices, printers, lockable lockers, and a cafe. Access to the Main Media Center will be restricted exclusively to media outlets accredited to cover the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025.
