HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaed
In implementation of the high instructions of King Mohammed VI, aimed at providing the necessary care to the population of areas affected by severe cold waves, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection launched the new version of the "Care 2025-2026" operation. In this context, the Ministry's delegation in Oujda-Angad engaged to ensure the continuity and proximity of health services to citizens in the areas most exposed to climatic changes.
The work team of the rural health center "Ahl Ankad" embodied this through a field trip that included a number of villages belonging to the community. This move aims to break the health isolation of the local population and ensure their right to accessible and quality medical treatment, especially in light of the difficult climatic conditions experienced by the region. This medical convoy provided a diverse range of health services that benefited various age groups, including general and specialized medical consultations: to diagnose and direct medical cases; nursing consultations: which included following up the health status of patients and providing the necessary treatments; awareness and sensitization sessions: focused on ways to prevent winter diseases and the importance of health hygiene; free distribution of medicines: The regional delegation worked to provide significant quantities of essential medicines that were delivered to patients immediately and according to medical prescriptions. The process was not limited to the general population only, but also provided an opportunity to address the health problems of female and male students in educational institutions affiliated with the community. This step comes to ensure a sound academic path for the students, and protect them from the health repercussions that may be caused by cold waves, which reflects positively on their academic achievement.
