The Burkina Faso national team decided its match against the Sudanese national team by winning 2-0, as part of the third round of the group stage of the African Cup of Nations currently held in Morocco, to ensure a ticket to the next round.
Lassina Traoré opened the scoring early in the 16th minute, before Arsene Kwasie reinforced the result with a second goal in the 85th minute, taking advantage of the superiority of his country's team in the second half and its good use of defensive errors.
The Sudanese national team missed the chance to reduce the difference after missing a penalty in the 24th minute, which was executed by Al-Jazouli Noah without being translated into a goal.
With this victory, the Burkina Faso national team raised its score to 6 points, occupying the second place in the fifth group, to book its seat in the round of 16, while the score of the Sudanese national team froze at 3 points in third place, with its qualification among the best third-placed teams.
