HIBAPRESS – Fes Office
The Fes-Meknes region witnessed a remarkable dynamic in the field and territorial work during the current year, led by a number of walis and governors who made a strong presence in the field and directly interacted with the expectations of the population, in perfect harmony with the high royal directives calling for the consolidation of good governance and linking responsibility to accountability.
In this context, the governor of the Meknes prefecture, the governor of Moulay Yacoub province, the governor of Taza province, and the governor of Taounate province stand out, who have demonstrated a real commitment to local development issues, through the daily field follow-up of projects, and serious involvement in addressing social and economic constraints, while ensuring precise coordination between the various stakeholders.
Their performance was characterized by adopting a proximity approach, and a rapid response to the concerns of citizens, in addition to following up on infrastructure projects, rural development, and the rehabilitation of urban areas, reflecting a deep understanding of the characteristics and challenges of each province.
In the same context, the beginning of the Wali Khalid Ait Taleb at the head of the Fes-Meknes region is a prominent station in the region's path, where he has shown since his appointment a clear seriousness and an effective field presence, reflecting a rich administrative and institutional experience accumulated through holding several important national responsibilities.
Wali Khalid Ait Taleb is considered one of the competencies who have accumulated great experience, whether during his tenure as Minister of Health or his administration of the University Hospital, in addition to other responsibilities that enabled him to have a precise grasp of the management of major files, especially those related to the social sector and basic services.
This diverse experience, in addition to the high royal trust he enjoyed, put him at the level of the aspirations of the residents of the city of Fes and the various provinces of the region, especially in light of the challenges related to the rehabilitation of public services, reducing spatial disparities, and accelerating the pace of implementing structural projects.
Observers of regional affairs believe that the harmony between the wilaya and the prefectures constitutes a real lever for implementing public policies at the territorial level, and reflects a new phase characterized by seriousness, field work, and actual listening to the pulse of citizens.
In light of these positive indicators, hopes are solidifying that the Fes-Meknes region will witness more development dynamics, under responsible leadership that bets on proximity by following the high royal instructions, competence, and good management, in service of the public good and the achievement of the desired development.
