The Ain Chock district of Casablanca was shaken this Friday morning by a tragic accident involving the death of a woman after she fell from the roof of a residential building, under circumstances still shrouded in mystery, prompting the competent authorities to open an in-depth investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
According to preliminary data, the victim's lifeless body was found after falling from a height, and the local authorities and national security elements were notified, who arrived at the scene, accompanied by elements of civil protection, to transport the body to the morgue for a medical autopsy, by order of the competent public prosecutor's office.
According to informed sources, the conflicting accounts of the circumstances of the accident hastened the expansion of the search, as the security services began their preliminary procedures, including technical inspections at the scene of the accident, and listening to a number of residents of the building and the neighborhood, with the addition of listening to the building guard as an essential element that may have information about what happened moments before the accident.
The same sources confirmed that the investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office, in order to determine whether the fall was accidental, the result of a push, or a possible criminal act, especially in light of some indicators that require scrutiny and verification.
The scene of the accident was cordoned off pending the completion of the necessary legal procedures, pending the results of the medical autopsy and ongoing investigations, which will have the final say in determining the true causes of death.
