The shipping companies Africa Morocco Link and Balearia announced the cancellation of a number of sea voyages heading to the port of Tangier yesterday, Friday, due to bad weather.
The authorities of the port of Algeciras Bay stated that navigation between the Spanish port of Tarifa and the port of Tangier witnessed a new disruption due to the storm "Ingrid" hitting the Cadiz region, which led to the cancellation of five voyages between three in the afternoon and nine at night yesterday, extending the interruptions on this line for three consecutive days, in addition to the cancellation of a scheduled trip this Saturday morning. In contrast, the authorities confirmed that sea voyages between the port of Algeciras and Tangier Med port are continuing normally, without recording any cancellations to date.
