Aya Gold & Silver has revealed promising exploration results during 2025 at the Boumadine mining project in the Little Atlas, 80 km southwest of Errachidia, confirming strong indications of polymetallic deposits including silver, gold, lead, and zinc.
The company stated that the mineral formations at the site appear in the form of lenses and veins of sulfides with a width ranging between one and four meters, and with a steep slope exceeding 70 degrees, with local extensions exceeding ten meters.
The analyses showed the recording of high concentrations, most notably a sample reaching 2323 grams/ton of silver equivalent over a length of 15 meters, including gold, silver, zinc, and lead in significant proportions.
Also, the Tizi and Imariren zones have been expanded to 2.2 km and 1.2 km, respectively, in addition to the discovery of a new high-concentration metallic structure and a new gold zone called Assirim, which enhances the geological potential of the project.
As part of the expansion, the company is working to increase the exploration area to more than 340 km², with the adoption of advanced space monitoring techniques and the completion of thousands of laboratory analyses, with strict adherence to standards to ensure the quality of the results.
The Boumadine project is expected to contribute to supporting Morocco's position as a regional center for metal production, attracting new investments, enhancing economic development and creating job opportunities in the Drâa-Tafilalet region.
