Within the framework of security efforts aimed at combating various forms of crime and enhancing the sense of security, and under the supervision of the commander of the Royal Gendarmerie in Jerrada, elements of the judicial center managed to carry out a field operation that resulted in the seizure of a suspicious light vehicle in the municipality of Houara Oulad Rahhou.
According to the available data, the seized car, a Mercedes 250, was in an illegal condition, as it did not carry any license plates, in addition to the fact that its front windows were meshed, which raised the suspicions of the gendarmerie elements about the nature of its use. The inspection operation carried out inside the car resulted in the discovery of a set of license plates, which are likely to be used in activities related to drug trafficking and facilitating suspicious movements without attracting attention. The car has been seized and placed at the disposal of the competent authorities, with a judicial investigation opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, in order to identify the potential perpetrators and reveal all the extensions related to this case, pending the outcome of the investigation.
