HIBAPRESS – Khalil Fizzazi
Laraghib Hormat Allah, President of the Communal Council of Dakhla, participated in the proceedings of the 2026 Global Youth Leadership Forum, held in the Spanish city of Santander under the theme "Challenges of Economic Prosperity and Global Cooperation," as part of a participation aimed at strengthening the city's presence in international discussions related to development and economic partnerships.
This forum provided an opportunity to exchange visions and experiences on issues of sustainable development and economic prosperity, and to explore prospects for international cooperation and establishing cross-border partnerships, in light of economic transformations that necessitate strengthening coordination between cities, local actors, and international partners.
The meeting also offered a chance to highlight the economic and strategic qualifications of the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region, and the city's position as Morocco's gateway to its African depth, and a connecting point between the African and European spaces.
The participation of Laraghib Hormat Allah, alongside Dahy Al-Khatat and Nourreddine Mouati, came in the context of efforts to strengthen parallel diplomacy, promote the developmental qualifications of the southern provinces, and explore opportunities for cooperation and experience exchange with international actors.
Such participations fall within the trend of territorial communities towards expanding their presence in international forums, which allows them to showcase their economic and investment qualifications, and open new horizons for cooperation in the fields of sustainable development, innovation, and economic partnerships.
