The General Directorate of Meteorology expects heavy showers and rainfall, and locally strong winds, from today, Friday, until tomorrow, Saturday, in a number of regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in an alert bulletin of "Orange" alert level, that it is expected to record heavy showers and rainfall (from 40 to 60 mm) in the prefectures and provinces of Larache, Al Hoceima, Taounate, and Chefchaouen, and (from 20 to 40 mm) in each of Moulay Yacoub, Ouezzane and Tetouan, starting today, Friday, at eleven o'clock in the morning until tomorrow, Saturday, at six o'clock in the morning.
The Directorate also expects locally strong winds (between 75 and 90 km/h) in the prefectures and provinces of Midelt, Taourirt, Oujda-Angad, Nador, Jerada, Berkane, Driouch, M'diq-Fnideq, Tetouan, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchfaouen, Taza, Guercif, Al Hoceima, Boulemane, Figuig, Tinghir, and Ouarzazate, starting today, Friday, at eleven o'clock in the morning until tomorrow, Saturday, at twelve o'clock noon.
