The population of Talghount village, belonging to the municipality of Abd El Ghaya Souahel in the Al Hoceima region, is still living in isolation, as the road remains cut off due to soil erosion caused by the recent rainfall, in the absence of an effective and rapid intervention by the concerned authorities to reopen it.
Faced with this situation, the population was forced to intervene with simple means to try to remove the soil and open the path, in an initiative that reflects the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, but it remains insufficient given the extent of the damage, as it requires an urgent technical intervention by providing bulldozers and appropriate mechanisms to ensure the opening of the road in safe and stable conditions.
The continuation of this interruption increases the suffering of the residents, as it hinders their movement towards the Akoun center to obtain their basic needs and livestock feed, and also threatens the normal conduct of studies due to the difficulty of transporting students and the disruption of school transport services.
In this context, the population has held the concerned authorities legally and morally responsible for any material or moral damages that may result from the continuation of this situation, stressing its right to pursue all available legal procedures to demand the removal of the damage and compensation for the losses, in the event of continued delay in intervention without justification.
