Ms. Sanaa Dardikh, Director of Communication at the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, confirmed that the "Ramadan 1447" operation embodies the high royal care that King Mohammed VI gives to the most vulnerable groups, especially the elderly, widows, and people with disabilities.
Dardikh highlighted, in a statement to the press on the occasion of the King's launch of the national "Ramadan 1447" operation, that this royal initiative has become, for 28 years, a structured appointment for national solidarity. She added that this year's edition is distinguished by adopting targeting that relies entirely on the Unified Social Registry, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, ensuring accurate identification and updating of benefiting families belonging to 1304 municipalities concerned by this operation at the national level. Dardikh noted that this operation mobilized a massive mechanism involving multiple parties and partners, including the Ministries of Interior and Islamic Affairs, which also contribute to funding. For her part, Souad Bouloiz, Director of Projects at the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, pointed out that this operation, which relies, for the second year in a row, on the socio-economic data derived from the Unified Social Registry, has made it possible to have a detailed and accurate database on benefiting families. She affirmed, in this context, that 74 percent of the beneficiaries live in the rural world, while there are more than 731,000 people from the elderly, people with disabilities, or widows who bear the responsibility of supporting their families. Bouloiz concluded that, in order to ensure the smooth running of this operation, more than 4,800 cadres and agents belonging to the Foundation's partners have been mobilized. For their part, many beneficiaries of the "Ramadan 1447" operation expressed their thanks and gratitude to King Mohammed VI for the continuous care that he provides to people in a situation of social vulnerability. They affirmed, in press statements, that this solidarity operation embodies the values of cohesion and solidarity that characterize Moroccan society, especially during the holy month.
