In 2024, she broke her silence by posting a video on the "YouTube" platform in which she spoke about her family being subjected to a real estate scam, and addressed a plea to the King of the country, calling for intervention to protect the independence of the judiciary. Those words caused a great uproar in society, and were circulated by word of mouth, which prompted the Public Prosecution to investigate what was stated in the video.
What was merely a statement turned into a real legal case, as Judge El Amri was tried and convicted of charges related to publishing false allegations and attempting to influence judicial decisions. That moment was pivotal in her career, arousing mixed feelings between those who considered her a victim and others who considered her to have overstepped the boundaries.
