The body of a girl, about 7 years old, was found this Friday afternoon on the side of the road in the Zaida commune, near the Midelt region, in an incident that mobilized the security authorities and caused shock among the residents.
According to local sources, the girl's body, who is from the Ait Hamama village in the Itzer commune, was found near the Bouhfass valley in the Zaida commune, hours after her disappearance under mysterious circumstances on Thursday evening. The girl had disappeared around ten o'clock at night, which prompted the local authorities, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Protection to launch extensive search and combing operations with the participation of a number of residents of the region. These operations ended with the discovery of the girl's body under circumstances that are still mysterious, as she was transferred to the morgue for a medical examination, while the Royal Gendarmerie services began an investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution to reveal the circumstances of the death.
