The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Saturday, that the weather will remain relatively cold in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the Eastern High Plateaus, during the morning and night.
Rain or moderate showers are also expected over the Loukkos, Gharb, and Rif regions, as well as other light rain over the central Atlantic plains and the phosphate and diamond plateaus.
The northern Atlantic plains and the Tangier region will witness generally scattered rainfall, in addition to snowfall over the peaks of the Middle Atlas and Rif Mountains.
In parallel, relatively strong wind gusts will be recorded over the central coasts and the southern provinces, accompanied by local dust scattering.
Minimum temperatures will range between 10- and 05- degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 00 and 05 degrees in the Rif and High Plateaus, between 12 and 16 degrees locally in the south of the Kingdom's desert provinces, and will be between 05 and 08 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
As for the temperatures during the day, they will see a slight decrease in the northern and central regions, while they will rise in the rest of the areas.
The sea will be slight to rough on the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and very rough to very rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya, and rough to strong on the rest of the coasts.
