The road linking the municipality of Ait Kamra and the village of Izfzafen witnessed this evening, shortly before the Maghrib prayer call, a dangerous traffic accident, following the overturning of a utility vehicle after it veered off course under circumstances whose causes are still being determined.
According to initial data from the scene, the accident resulted in significant material damage to the vehicle, while its driver sustained minor injuries, which required the provision of necessary first aid without recording any loss of life. It is likely that factors of speed or loss of control while driving were behind the accident, pending the outcome of the investigations being conducted by the competent authorities to determine the circumstances of the incident accurately. This incident brings to the forefront the importance of being cautious while driving, especially in the periods preceding the iftar time during the month of Ramadan, where roads experience heavy traffic and haste by some drivers, which increases the likelihood of traffic accidents.
