An official statement stated that Morocco was among the prominent destinations for grain shipments that crossed the Baltic Sea ports in the Leningrad region of Russia in recent days, with about 108,000 tons of grains and manufactured products exported under the supervision of a specialized technician.
The source explained that wheat constituted the largest share of these shipments, with about 98,000 tons, along with other products including sugar beet pulp, mainly directed to Morocco, Israel, and Angola. The statement confirmed that all shipments underwent quality and safety tests and met the requirements of plant quarantine, with the necessary certificates issued. The same source pointed out that these operations fall within Russia's efforts to expand grain export markets and increase the volume of exports through the Baltic Sea ports, which have become a strategic route in Russian agricultural trade.
