On the 22nd day of the American-Israeli war on Iran, the mutual bombardment between the parties to the conflict continues at an escalating pace. Israeli Channel 12 said that 47 people were injured in the Dimona area in southern Israel as a result of an Iranian missile attack.
Israeli Channel 12 also reported that the people were injured in 12 locations in the city of Dimona, which is famous for the Israeli nuclear reactor, which is located about 13 kilometers away. Iranian television said that Tehran targeted the city of Dimona in response to the attack that targeted the Iranian Natanz nuclear facility. These developments come after the bombing of the Iranian Natanz nuclear facility, where the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization confirmed that the facility was bombed again this morning, Saturday. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority said, quoting an informed source, that the attack on Natanz was carried out by Washington with bunker-buster bombs. In contrast, Iranian television confirmed the targeting of Israeli sites, while sirens sounded in areas in southern and northern Israel. Israeli media reported that Iranian missiles caused direct damage and injuries in several areas. In a new military development, the Wall Street Journal quoted officials as confirming that Iran tried to target the Diego Garcia base, the joint American-British military base in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with two ballistic missiles, without succeeding in doing so. In Lebanon, Israeli warplanes raided the southern suburb of Beirut after issuing new evacuation orders, and Hezbollah announced its shelling of settlements and gatherings of Israeli occupation soldiers in southern Lebanon. In the meantime, the United Nations is seeking to develop a plan aimed at stopping the escalation and protecting the Strait of Hormuz, where it is conducting contacts with the main active parties in the Gulf and the European Council in this regard.
