HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaid
The managing office of the Union Sportive Islamique Oujda club (USMO) expressed its deep dissatisfaction and strong condemnation of what it described as "influential refereeing errors" that marked its matches against the Club Athletic Kénitra in Salé and today, Sunday, against Amal Tiznit at the Municipal Stadium in Oujda, considering that these errors contributed directly to changing the course of the game and controlling the final results of the matches.
In a strongly worded statement of condemnation, the club directed direct questions about the standards adopted by the supervisory bodies in appointing and evaluating referees. The club's management confirmed that these errors went beyond the limits of "acceptable human errors" to raise major question marks about sports justice and the principle of equal opportunities between competing clubs. The statement revealed that the management of "USMO" had previously sent official letters to both the National League of Professional Football and the Referees Committee, with the aim of drawing attention to a set of technical and organizational imbalances. The club expressed its astonishment at the continuation of the same violations without taking tangible corrective measures to ensure the preservation of the clubs' rights and the protection of the reputation of national competitions. In a related context, the Union Islamique Oujda confirmed its full right to pursue all legal and organizational procedures guaranteed by the law governing the game, "in defense of the club's interests and in protection of its historical and popular rights." The club concluded its statement by renewing the call for the necessity of upgrading the national refereeing system, in line with the aspirations of the Moroccan fans and enhancing the credibility and competitiveness of the national championship, stressing that "integrity and transparency" are the basic pillars of any desired football development.
