HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
Al Haouz province has witnessed extensive field mobilization in recent days, led by various intervention teams, with the aim of reopening roads and vital axes that were damaged by the heavy rain and thunderstorms that the region has recently experienced. These efforts have enabled the restoration of traffic flow and the breaking of the isolation of a number of affected douars.
According to field data, the intervention operations included a number of strategic routes, including regional road No. 2015 linking the communes of Zerkten and Tighedouine, in addition to reopening the road leading to the douar of Ait Hamed in the commune of Ankal. The route linking the douar of Aghbalou in the commune of Tazarart and the commune of Zerkten has also been opened, as well as the road that connects the douars of Inzal and Ouaouskht in the commune of Tighedouine, which contributed to breaking the isolation of about eight douars. These operations were not limited to reopening roads only, but also included precise technical interventions, which involved expanding and clearing the affected axes, and removing mud and stones left by the torrents. Important logistical mechanisms have been harnessed to accomplish these works, especially at kilometer 317 on national road No. 9, specifically at the Tazlidat center of the Zerkten commune, where traffic conditions have been noticeably improved. This field mobilization reflects the high readiness of the intervention teams, who continue their vigilance to face any emergency, and to ensure the safety of the local population, in light of the weather fluctuations that the province is witnessing. These efforts also highlight the importance of rapid and coordinated intervention in limiting the effects of natural disasters, and maintaining the continuity of basic services, especially in rural and mountainous areas. These operations remain a model of effective intervention that gradually restores life to the affected areas and strengthens citizens' confidence in the ability of the competent authorities to manage crises quickly. In this context, the governor of Al Haouz province is keen to directly monitor these field interventions, as he records his continuous presence on the spot far from any protocol manifestations, in a step that reflects an actual involvement and field responsibility in managing the situation. This direct supervision aims to accelerate the pace of work and ensure the effectiveness of interventions aimed at reopening roads and breaking the isolation of the affected population. Observers also confirm that this practical approach has contributed, since his appointment at the head of the province, to restoring vitality and dynamism to Al Haouz province, by enhancing the pace of achievement and bringing the administration closer to the expectations of citizens.
