HIBAPRESS – Oujda
"Lemon Subdivision" (Kraksho) in the city of Berkane was shaken today, Monday, March 30, by a tragic incident, following the discovery of the body of a retired professor in his seventies, who passed away inside his residence in the "Palm Trees" residences adjacent to Al-Ahram Street, under circumstances that required the intervention of various security and local agencies.
According to field data, the deceased, who was 75 years old, and who was one of the well-known educational cadres at "Al-Quds Preparatory Secondary School", disappeared for several days. Sources close to the family stated that the sudden interruption of contact with the deceased, despite the continued ringing of his mobile phone without a response, caused a state of severe anxiety among his family members. In light of this ambiguity, the deceased's brother went to his residence to check on him, and after repeated attempts to knock on the door without a response, the competent authorities were notified, who immediately went to the scene. By order of the Public Prosecution, elements of the National Security and Civil Protection stormed the apartment, where the deceased's lifeless body was found. Initial examinations indicate that the body was in the early stages of decomposition, which suggests that the death occurred days before the date of discovery. In the same context, the body of the deceased was transported via a hearse to the morgue at Al-Daraq Regional Hospital in Berkane, in implementation of the instructions of the competent Public Prosecution, which ordered the body to be subjected to a thorough medical autopsy to determine the scientific and factual causes of death.
