U.S. President Donald Trump today called on the countries of the world to "go to the Strait of Hormuz and control it," as he put it.
Trump said in a post on "Truth Social": "Countries should go to the Strait and control the oil themselves and learn how to fight." Trump affirmed in his post that "countries must buy oil from America." Trump urged countries that did not help the United States in its coordinated strikes on Iran, and cannot now get jet fuel, to buy American oil and go to the Strait of Hormuz and "just control it," according to Reuters.
