The Governor of Al Hoceima, Fouad Haji, received Stéphanie Petitbon, the Consul General of the French Republic in Tangier, at the prefecture headquarters. This meeting falls within the ongoing dynamic to strengthen bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic, and to consolidate joint cooperation mechanisms at the territorial level.
This meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on ways to develop the partnership between the two sides, especially in relation to strengthening decentralized cooperation and supporting joint initiatives in a number of priority sectors, in line with the requirements of local development in the Al Hoceima region. The two sides also emphasized the importance of intensifying communication and coordination channels between various institutions, which contributes to elevating bilateral relations to wider horizons, and reflects the strength of the historical ties that unite the two countries.
